The investment from C4D Partners has helped the company expand its production and warehouse facility, along with implementation of ERP system within the organization.
Despite being one of the largest producers of coconut sugar globally, the production of coconut sugar in Indonesia is still relatively conventional. The farmers still perform all operations through traditional methods, which leads to contamination from metal, gluten, and other residues in the coconut sugar.
Due to such operations, the coconut sugar becomes unfit for export, leaving farmers with only local market players who pay less for their produce. Aliet Green seized this opportunity by bridging the farmers and premium markets to do profitable business.
Established in 2009, Aliet Green is located in the Yogyakarta region, one of Indonesia’s best coconut palm sugar-producing areas. Aliet Green sources coconut sugar from local farmers, which is processed further to create various coconut sugar products. Aliet Green visits the coconut palm farms daily to ensure that all plants are grown organically. Aliet Green sells organic coconut sugar in premium export markets, mainly USA and Europe. The company has numerous certifications and awards, which has helped it build trust in the export markets and gain robust sales.
